Setting up your space

Other than having a clear mind, a clear space is needed for your practice. With there being so much chaos and distractions all around us, we have to create the peace we desire. Whether it’s a corner in your bedroom, a spot at the end of the hallway in your home, or a full room dedicated to your yoga and meditation practice, ensuring that your space is set up to receive you is most important.

Though all that’s needed for yoga is you, having other tools to assist you can be helpful. Your mat, towel, any blocks/straps, scents, music, etc. can be of great use. Above all, having a dedicated space to practice makes it easier for you to be consistent. So, find yourself a dedicated space to practice, set it up to your liking, and allow your practice to commence.
